Shanling M7
M7 follows our new design approach, inspired by Shanling’ 25th anniversary edition HiFi line.
Using precise CNC machines, creating the whole main chasis from a single piece of aircraft-grade aluminium, with a complex wave pattern on the sides, all in elegant titanium grey finish. Adding glass panels to front, back and top of the player for a clean and smooth look.
The Shanling M7 includes MQA Technology, which enables you to play back MQA audio files and streams, delivering the sound of the original master recording.
‘MQA’ or ‘MQA Studio’ indicates that the product is decoding and playing an MQA stream or file, and denotes provenance to ensure that the sound is identical to that of the source material. ‘MOA Studio’ indicates it is playing an MQA Studio file, which has either been approved in the studio by the artist/producer or has been verified by the copyright owner. Coming with a beautiful 5-inch LCD panel from Sharp, offering a 5 inch full HD resolution, stunning colors and great viewing angles. Fitted into the “floating screen” design of the front pane, providing a better user experience.
Fully Balanced 4-channel amplifier circuit, based on Shanling’s OP + BUF amplifier architecture. Designed for a superior sound quality with zero unwanted noise. Our In-House developed I/V stage consists of High Precision Thin Film Resistors, Panasonic Tantulum-polymer Capacitors, a MUSES8920 operational amplifier, a TI-OPA2211 Operational Amplifier, an ESS ES9311 Voltage Regulator, and a Ti-BUF634A High-Speed Buffer.
Two Japanese KDS active crystal oscillators and Shanling’s algorithm provide better accuracy and enhanced performance when decoding PCM or DSD data un to 32bit/768kHz and DSD 512.
ES9038 Pro
The audio circuit of the M7 is based on the ES9038PRO, the flagship DAC of ESS sabre line. Previously adapted for our top-of-the-line (TOTL) CD player CD3.2, providing us with all the needed knowledge and experience for the ideal implementation into the portable form.
Modern CPU performance
Running on the Qualcomm snapdragon 665 CPU, the eight cores and 11nm architecture provide more than enough processing power for any modern applications. Also allowing for a longer battery life thanks to the lower power consumption and its reduced heat emission compared to competiors, a very welcome addition in a HiFi grade device.
High Power Demands
With all the power-hungry audio circuits, we had to take the power drain quite seriously, and so we opted for a high-capacity 7000 mAh battery, with addition of QC3.0 18W charging, to keep you going for as long as possible. The M7 provides up to 10 hours of 3.5mm SE, 8.5 hours of 4.4mm Bal, and up to 85 hours of bluetooth.

Easily connect to any bluetooth headphones or speakers and enjoy the premium sound quality thanks to the support of the best bluetooth audio codecs in the market. While transmitting the M7 can handle LDAC, LHDC, aptX HD, aptX and SBC. On Receiver Mode the M7 can utilize LDAC and SBC codes. Equipped with the Qualcomm WCN39080 wireless module, the M7 provides some of the highest speed assuring fast and reliable internet connection.
