MASS-Kobo Model 433

Model 433 is a full balanced amplifier that ensures high-quality sound from input to output.

By combining the sound characteristics inherited from the esteemed models 406 and 394 with the output circuit of the model 402 used by the Japanese broadcasting station NHK, it delivers a pleasant and satisfying audio experience.

It offers a range of inputs, including XLR Balance Input or RCA Unbalance Input, with the capability to internally convert unbalanced signals to balanced signals.

The power supply supports worldwide use with AC 100V-240V and 50/60Hz compatibility.

With ample power, model 433 is capable of driving standard dynamic headphones effectively.

Outstanding for the price, performance and size

This is one of my more satisfiying blind purchasing ever. If you are looking for the absolute pinnacle of Japanese engineering in a compact size headphone amplifier, the Mass-Kobo 433 is it. This amp provides a level of transparency and black background that is rare even in high-end desktop setups. It offers a completely uncolored, neutral signature that reveals every micro-detail in your recordings without ever sounding clinical or harsh. Despite its compact size, it drives demanding full-sized headphones with incredible grip and dynamic headroom. It feels like a precision instrument. Whether using IEMs or power-hungry planars, the noise floor is non-existent. This is a "buy it once, keep it forever" piece of gear, unless this masterpiece awakes your cravings for taste the next level (485)
