Final DX4000CL
A new sense of openness achieved with a closed type
Due to the structure of closed-back headphones, it is difficult to create an open sound, and the lack of sound clarity can create a feeling of confinement.
This product uses extra-thick low-repulsion ear pads with a thickness of 30 mm to ensure a sufficient distance between the driver and the ear. Furthermore, by combining a driver with low distortion and an internal structure that suppresses unnecessary resonance, we have achieved an overwhelming sense of openness that will make you forget that it is a closed type.
Equipped with Japanese paper and carbon composite diaphragm DU
Paper has been widely used for speaker diaphragms since ancient times, as it is a material that has both high internal loss and light weight.
This product uses a special material for the diaphragm, which is made by adding carbon to Japanese paper to increase its strength. Furthermore, we have adopted a "free edge structure" with no grooves on the edges so that the diaphragm can operate smoothly.
In addition, the front plate that secures the driver is made of a special glass-reinforced resin that is lightweight and highly rigid. These technologies have resulted in a driver unit with excellent operability and low distortion.
"Rear diffuser array structure" suppresses unnecessary resonance
The space behind the driver is equipped with our proprietary technology, ``Rear Diffuser Array Structure.'' By arranging fine ribs (diffusion plates) with different spacing and shapes, it is designed to avoid creating parallel surfaces inside. This diffuses sound reflections and effectively suppresses unnecessary resonance inside the housing.
Repairable construction for long-term use
In order to ensure long-term use, the use of adhesive is kept to a minimum, and the housing is designed to be repairable by assembling with O-rings and precision screws.
Low-repulsion ear pads provide a comfortable fit
The newly developed ear pads, which are 30mm thick and made of synthetic leather and memory foam, not only provide a high seal, but also provide excellent comfort. Ear pads can be replaced without tools.
In addition, the hanger that connects the headband and housing is made of ultra-super duralumin, which is lightweight yet extremely strong enough to be used in aircraft.
