Once I'd confirmed the unit was in stock, I ordered it at about 3pm and it was delivered at 9am the next morning . Well done Elise Audio👍. The T2 is really neat and solidly-made and it sounds great - a clear step up from my old Cambridge Audio CXC transport. With every CD I'm hearing wider soundstage and improved low-end definition. I'm also noticing small details in familiar tracks for the first time. The I2S output worked out of the box over an Audioquest HDMI cable with my Holo Audio Cyan 2 DAC. The remote control has some heft and isn't the usual splatter-fest of irrelevant buttons. The lift-off pan lid won't be to everyone's taste, but I don't mind it (no drawer or slot to fail). My only minor gripe is that when the display is set to go off (which is optional) it doesn't come back on when the lid is lifted and a new disc is loaded. It does come one when Play is pressed though, so it's not a big deal. Overall I'm delighted with it and hoping it'll last me many years.
