Op amps are a key component for processing and amplifying audio signals. They can be found in virtually all audio gear in the form of tiny integrated circuits (IC's) like the one laying on its back in the picture. They also come with all of the pitfalls and shortcomings that IC op amps have, like limited power dissapation and crummy compensation capacitors. Discrete op amps do not have these limitations, and are a vastly superior op amp for amplifying audio signals than their IC counterparts are.

They can run much higher power, have much deeper class A bias, and deliver a much more realistic and detailed sound. Discrete op amps also permit the use of high quality compensation capacitors, and allow for two pole compensation schemes which are impossible to implement in IC designs. All of this translates into a more detailed and engaging listening experience with better imaging and soundstaging than IC op amps can deliver. Products purchased from Elise Audio are supplied with a manufacturer warranty that is specified on the product page on our website. Most products come with a 1Y manufacturer warranty (or 3 months for B-grade, open box, refurbished, ex-demo and second hand items). The manufacturer's warranties are limited to physical defects in the materials, parts and workmanship used in making the product. Abnormal conditions, deliberate abuse and damage due to accidents, operator's error, or unauthorized service attempts are excluded from any warranty claims. Faulty goods returned under the manufacturers warranty are to be returned to Elise Audio at the cost of the customer. Elise Audio will cover the cost of shipping the repaired or replacement product back to the customer.

I have been wanting to roll the opamps on my two Fosi ams which l run in mono : for a while now

I have been wanting to roll the opamps on my two Fosi ams which l run in mono : for a while now, l done a lot of research and listening and settled on the Sparkos SS3602. I had now been running them for around 25 hours and have not been disappointed, in fact l am delighted by the overall sound l am getting from my system.There is more clarity and the bass has got cleaner. I have still got to get a few more of your SS3602’s to roll my Fosi DAC and then l will be sorted. This was an easy review to write due to the quality of the Sparkos SS3602.
