The PHÖNIX was designed to offer you an incomparable listening experience. It combines excellent sound with precise craftsmanship to create a perfect symbiosis. Its gemstone-like appearance emphasizes the uniquely shimmering sound composition and makes it a masterpiece of audiophile perfection.
Our legendary ERLKÖNIG already left the stage some time ago. Many people praised the outstanding sound and performance of this exceptional In-Ear. We received an incredible amount of positive feedback, but the weight of the shell and the price were always a negative factor for some. As a result, we developed a new shell design and at the same time improved the driver configuration of the ERLKÖNIG motor.
The Vision
The PHÖNIX is not just an elegant new guise for the ERLKÖNIG - it is a transformation. We have improved the sound, especially in the high frequencies, to create a more open and airy experience. The changes have been made carefully, knowing that it will be a rich legacy.
The Sound
Equipped with 13 balanced armature drivers per side, the PHÖNIX offers a powerful yet elegantly resolving sound. The 13 drivers are controlled by a passive 5-way crossover to produce an outstanding sound with breathtaking precision and clarity. Tight and bottomless lows gives the smooth, natural mids a solid foundation that transitions seamlessly into phenomenally clear highs.
The Design
Every carbon block has an individual structure, so that each shell is unique as a fingerprint. The faceplate is a composition of three materials and layers. The carrier faceplate is made of CNC machined anodized aluminium, under a beautiful domed sapphire glass you can see a dark red chrome layer, prominently wearing the golden PHöNIX logo.
The PHöNIX is available with a golden or with a matte black carrier faceplate.
The Case
With the PHöNIX we introduce our all new Premium Line case made of genuine leather. The smart interior design is making it easy to store your precious Premium Line In-Ears without risking them to collide with each other during transport. The cable is neatly stored under an elegant strap. A perfect gadget for your earphone with the aesthetics of an exclusive watch case.
A separate genuine leather key strap gives you the opportunity to cling the leather case securely on your bag when you are on the go.
