ZMF BOKEH Closed
THE STORY
[ BOH-kay ] / [ BOW-kuh ] // noun: the blurred quality or effect seen in the out-of-focus areas of a photographic image
[BOH-kay] [BOW-kuh] is ZMF's closed, semi-portable, easy-to-drive, 80-ohm closed-back headphone. It incorporates trickle-down acoustic technology and the form factor from the rest of the ZMF line.
Caldera Asymmetrical Magnet Structure
A Unique Sonic Harmony.
With the Bokeh Open and Closed, ZMF has created a duo that’s both approachable and endlessly rewarding. Their easy-to-drive nature ensures stunning sound straight from your favorite portable device, while their ability to scale on better amps satisfies even the most discerning audiophile. Offering different tuning options and two complementary sound profiles, the Bokeh series is the ultimate pair for ZMF fans, providing everything you love about ZMF in a form that fits every listening style.
Wood Selection
Natural Black Limba
Currently, the stock wood for the BOKEH is Natural Black Limba. Black Limba has streaks, resin marks, ink lines, dark and light spots, and highly varying color and figure. Limba may also contain ambrosia markings, filled bore holes, and other natural characteristics that we will fill or modify to looks its best. We can't guarantee particular aesthetics, but have shown numerous sets of wood and will build every headphone to our high standards.
NOTE: The Bokeh Closed comes with the Clamshell case INCLUDED as of Jan 1st 2025. No need to buy a clamshell case separately.
A Sonic Depth - of - Field.
