Aune SR7000

Ordered the SR7000a’’s on an afternoon and were delivered the next afternoon, very good service I think.
Very well made really comfortable and lightweight
On first listen cold out of the box they were very poor, which I half expected , very harsh and thin sounding.
Left them playing through the night with some heavy music and next morning they sounded like a different set of headphones .
A couple of days later and well, Wow!! these things are quite incredible, Sublime with Classical music and Acoustic music. Because they are very open and dynamic they will certainly show up the faults of badly recorded music.
The overall timbre is excellent, bass is not overblown or muddy but really well layered. Midrange is excellent. The only negative comment I have is to me they can sound a bit spicy with some recordings due to the bad recording and not the headphones themselves.
These headphones are closed back which is why I’ve purchased them but perform like or better than some open back phones I’ve heard.
Drive these with the best source you can , the better the source the better they shine,
A steal at the price and better than phones I’ve heard at twice the price and probably more.
Buy some , I don’t think you’ll be disappointed
