Before this product was developed, the FangSound team had accumulated a wealth of experience in experiments with power supply, voltage, and low-distortion amplification. But even though these amplifiers performed well in terms of drive and control, some users still raised challenges:

Unlike other gods who embody control and order, Dionysus serves as the mediator between nature and human desire, the guardian of irrational beauty. He governs not only the cup of wine, but also the purest, freest side of art and music.
FangSound chose “Dionysus” as the symbol for this headphone amplifier with the hope that this product will not merely be a collection of electronic components, but rather a medium for transcending rationality and entering the depths of sound.
Background & Origin: The Need for “No Compromise”
Before creating Dionysus, FangSound had extensive experience with power supply, voltage, and low-distortion amplification. Despite strong performance, users demanded more—greater driving power, higher fidelity, wider dynamic range, and rock-solid stability under extreme loads.
This pursuit of uncompromising performance sparked the Dionysus project, originally developed as the FSY-X01 platform. Using a rare ±48V power system, it was designed to break past the traditional limits of headphone amplifiers in voltage swing and output power.

Aviation-grade precision CNC machining of solid aluminum achieves 0.01mm processing accuracy with seamless monocoque construction, completely eliminating the looseness or resonance issues inherent in traditional panel-joined enclosures. This provides an exceptionally stable operating environment for internal circuitry, restoring pure audio fidelity.
Class AB Discrete Transistor Output Stage
Features an enhanced version of the Kunlun architecture from the predecessor Ariadne, employing a true Class AB discrete transistor output stage. Operates in Class A mode at low output power levels, delivering a warm and natural sound.
High-Drive Adaptability 32Ω 40W+, 64Vrms
Fully balanced differential amplifier design delivers 40W continuous output power at 3202Ω impedance with 64Vrms voltage capability. Compatible with high-impedance planar magnetic headphones and low-sensitivity over-ear headphones, ensuring uncompressed signal transmission.
Dynamic range has been enhanced to 134dB
enabling more nuanced reproduction of subtle signals and high-intensity transient contrasts within music.
Ultra-Low Distortion Performance THD+N reduced to 0.0006%
a 40% decrease over the previous generation, minimizing interference from harmonics and circuit noise on the original audio signal.
