The Feliks Audio Echo Vibe features several internal improvements over its predecessor. Notably, the amplifier now incorporates upgraded capacitors, which the brand says enhances high-frequency detail. This amp being an OTL is great for high impedance headphones. I've got a collection of Sennheiser's that although can be good on solid state amps are often bass light. I bought the Schiit Lyr+ a while age and it didn't make the difference I wanted (even with tube rolling), and the consensus seems to be it's neutral sounding and not very 'tubey'. The Envy Vibe is great, it is what I was looking for, but not soft in the bass or rolled off in the treble. Haven't tried Planar's or IEMs, that's not what OTL amps are for.
