HiBy RS8
HiBy's Latest In-House Developed Darwin II Architecture
HiBy has featured their latest developed Darwin II Architecture for the HiBy RS8. DARWIN II doubles the individual resistors originally found in DARWIN, making the most of its chassis space to line up 184 high-precision resistors to work the Most Significant Bits and Least Significant Bits of your music better. DARWIN II's linearity improves as a result and its capacity to reproduce micro-detail from small signal levels sees a dynamic range improvement of 15dB in RS8. HiBy RS8 adopts the classic R-2R resistor array technology and combines it with advanced technologies such as Linear FIR Filter, Non-Linear Harmonics Control, Switchable Oversasmpling/NOS filter, and many more.
NOS/OS mode switch
NOS mode is non-oversampling, responding more immediately and directly to signals, converting the digital signals to analog output directly, bringing a more analog sound signature. It is more suitable for music files /streams of 192kHz sample rate or above. Oversampling mode easily removes aliasing artifacts via the tried and true combination of oversampling and ultrasonic lowpass filter, yielding superior measured performance; enables all functions of the Darwin architecture, realizes personalized adjustments of sound signature, adapting to different earphones.
Audio-Dedicated Femtosecond Crystal Oscillators
HiBy RS8 features audio-dedicated femtosecond crystal oscillators clocked at 45.158MHz and 49.152MHz providing proper synchronization between the RS8 components. These ensure the player produces quality output signals with great precision and clarity.
Independent Headphone And Lineout Ports
HiBy RS8 supports both single-ended and balanced output ports. The device actually has separate ports for headphone output and line output. There are both 3.5mm and 4.4mm ports one for line-out and another for headphone output. It is made explicitly for devoted audiophiles who want the best performance out of their portable music players.
Pure Titanium Luxury Body Design
HiBy RS8 has a pure Titanium material chassis, which has been hand-polished for a neat textured finish. Its front panel houses a 5-inch touchscreen display with a Full HD resolution. On the inside, there are dual independent crystal oscillators to help keep the timing of the digital signal accurate, along with premium ELNA and Panasonic capacitors for the best performance. The audio player supports high-resolution 32-Bit/768kHz PCM, native DSD512, and 16x full MQA decoding capabilities.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC
Utilizing an advanced 11nm process, the Snapdragon 665 allows smooth operation of multiple apps at the same time, instant response to music browsing and potential use of any audio DSPs.
