XD05T paired with HD800s, heaven!

Using this amp taking a 4.4mm balanced input from a FiiO M17 as a transportable desktop setup. I power the amp with the FiiO PL50 and it has no trouble driving the HD800s even on low gain settings. Personally with this arrangement I don't feel the bass boost function is necessary despite liking a richer fuller tone when listening.

The amp itself feels very premium and displays the warm glow of the tubes beautifully. I also really love the green anodised look.

The only let down is that it isn't supplied with a leather case for protection when transporting it.
