Updating a good product is risky. When it’s iconic, the challenge is even bigger. How do you produce a new impressive sound while retaining the original’s strengths? Such is our ambition with Helios SE.

Helios impressed with its unique technology and sound. The SE project started with two main objectives: add body to the lower frequencies and improve the fit.
Helios SE showcases talent and dedication. It is sonic excellence, fun and beauty. A product made for passionate audiophiles, by passionate audiophiles.
With Helios SE, we didn't just want to add bass. It was important to retain the Helios technical excellence.
The new signature adds versatility and caters to audiophiles who listen to a wide variety of music. Helios SE delivers impact, clarity and refinement. And it does so with a touch of fun.
So while bass was the main target, changes were implemented across the frequency response. This includes even more natural, sparkly treble.
The other main objective was to improve the fit. Symphonium developed a new, more ergonomic shell. The new shell has been thoroughly tested and will provide a comfortable fit for hours.
Helios SE is made of the same machined T6 AL6061 Aluminium alloy. This provides the maximum possible strength and hardness.
The colorful faceplate also makes a statement: Helios SE is fun, but it means business.
Featuring Filtered Linear Attenuation Tuning (FLAT) Technology, a proprietary circuit developed in-house with Subtonic, Helios SE will not be affected by impedence mismatch due to difference in source used. You will be able to listen to the same unimpeded sound regardless of the device you are using.

As such, each Helios SE comes with a new generation low impedance hand-built 26 AWG OCC Copper cable from Altalune Audio that has been carefully designed - down to the solder used - to provide the best listening experience possible.
By using a 4-way crossover, the sound frequencies can be separated into four different ranges. This allows to fine-tune each driver to precisely match the specifications needed to produce the best possible sound quality. Each driver's frequency response can be controlled and adjused, ensuring that every aspect of the audio spectrum is reproduced accurately and without distortion.
Perpetuating the collaboration tradition
Helios SE builds on the technological foundation developed by Symphonium, in collaboration with Subtonic. The technology was designed to disprove the stereotypes associated with multi-driver balanced armature earphones. Utilising ground breaking techniques, the balanced armature subwoofers produce exceptionally clean sub-bass punch that hits hard, yet does not colour vocal presentation. Tuned for a smooth and detailed midrange, Helios SE also features class-leading treble extension that pushes the limits of what balanced armature tweeters are capable of. The best just got better.
