Symphonium X Elise Audio Europa
We are proud to present Europa, our second collaboration with Symphonium. Building upon the acclaimed Crimson platform, Europa is refined, technical and punchy.
With Europa, we decided to go with a slightly reduced treble response. This said, Europa retains the special extension that enhances detail, staging and separation. The result is a natural signature that does not compromise on detail.
We went through a painstakingly long process to get Europa bass just right. And we are proud of the result. The bass is detailed and has a visceral impact that will not be easy to forget.
In order to complement the sound signature, Europa comes with the newly designed "Dark Matter" cable. The cable is composed of 7N OCC copper and has been tuned to bring the best out of Europa.

Featuring a combination of our finest technologies, the Europa boasts a fusion of both PHAT and FLAT advancements.
With PHAT technology ensuring no unnecessary frequency inversions or phase cancellation and FLAT technology ensuring low impedance and immunity from impedance mismatch - the Europa is ready to take on any challenge thrown it's way.

The EUROPA boasts a new color scheme and a premium forged carbon faceplate that pays homage to our brand's origins and resilience.
This material composite has graced the works of award-winning jewelry, watch, and luxury vehicles. Due to the material's inherent nature, each faceplate is a unique masterpiece, ensuring no two sets are the same.
Given the Crimson's status, it's only fitting that this distinctive and premium material finds its place within the design.

The Europa's been an awesome out and about companion played off the Mojo 2 (also from Elise!) with my Hiby R3ii serving as transport. Treble is detailed without sounding sharp. Vocals are rich, natural and have a good depth and are not too in your head when the recording calls for it. Bass is authoritative and has enough impact to satisfy me outdoors.
Imaging is coherent - there's ample height and width playing off the Mojo 2 with a nicely layered presentation. But the Europa also scales very well on my desktop setup and reflects the source's qualities. Connected to my tube amp, I was surprised by how much more the stage opened up without losing coherence.
Hats off to the fine folks at Elise and Symphonium for the work that went into tweaking the Crimson’s sound and fit to create a very well balanced IEM in the Europa - and of course for the excellent customer service!
The Europa is my first pair of IEMs over a kilobuck and it could have been my one and done endgame (of course that didn't happen).
Amazing details, great sound stage depth, bass and treble are very balanced and coherent. I can find zero fault with Europa's sound signature. Every song plays smooth and listening is effortless.
The fit is also exceptional. With the correct eartips (I use Spinfit W1), along with the 8wire Dark Matter cable, I have no problem listening to songs all day.
Cannot recommend the Europa enough, as well as Elise Audio for their fantastic services. Elise Audio really hit a home run with the Europa and set the bar high for other IEMs.
First off I need to included a disclaimer. 90% of my audio gear has been purchased from Elise Audio. Despite this fact (and always been very happy with my products and above all the customer support is absolutely superb) i've just realized that i have never made the effort to give my feedback.
Europa is such a wonderful iem in so many categories. The fit is great (the added nozzle length compared to Crimson is very welcomed), the tuning is what we have come to get used to by the magical team from Symphonium. It retained what was best from Crimson and the Helios SE. The treble peak from Crimson is gone, the mid bass is tighter and more impactful, and the sub bass extends very low. I would call it a warm neutral signature with sub bass boost. Separation and layering is very well done. I cant think of any iem under 2k that could best Europa (for my personal tastes). Its one of those drivers that takes me to rediscover and enjoy my library.
This one is staying in my collection for a ver long time!
I was lucky to be able to audition these at Elise's Paddington studio pre-launch and I put in an order as soon as they were available. A big shout-out to Ahmed & Sayed who were generous with their advice and super patient in letting me audition lots of kit.
Europa Impressions:
I like the quieter colour scheme, but that's very much a matter of personal taste. The smaller shell is very comfortable in-ear, almost disappearing by comparison to larger IEM's.
I love the clarity, air and definition the Europa's offer. No crazy levels of bass, but plenty of taught, controlled bottom end when needed. Fantastic clarity through the mids and a totally unfatiguing top end.
In summary the Europa's are thoroughly engaging, making me want to re-visit my entire music collection, and that's not happened since I bought my 2021 Audeze LCD-X's.
