Craft Ears x Elise Audio Omnium TI (Launch Edition)

One afternoon, I was looking for a new pair of IEMs that would sonically complement my current IEMs: Alpha & Omega Fulgrim, Campfire Audio Chimera, and 64 Audio Tia Forte. I decided to use a couple of my AI search engines to see if they could generate ideas beyond my own. Each recommended the Craft Ears x Elise Audio Omnium Ti (Launch Edition) based on my request for a high-caliber IEM to augment my current tools.

I read about them at Elise, and the description was intriguing. I also found that the Craft Ears Omnium was highly rated. The Elise-Craft Ears Omnium Ti appeared to push the envelope forward in some important ways. It has a completely redesigned universal shell shape; the internal, custom-tuned acoustic chambers were optimized to shrink the shell profile, the nozzle was slightly shortened, and the nozzle insertion angle was adjusted so that the units sit flusher and more comfortably in the ear than the original.

The price was appealing, so I bought them. Elise kept up great communication during shipping and helped keep the import duties reasonable.

To my taste, the Omnium TI shell and faceplate are beautiful. It has a silver titanium look and a gorgeous Brazilian Lacewood inlay. In photos, they can look solid black, but in real life, they're dark chocolate wood with natural brown specks. In today’s market, full of gaudy IEMs, the Omnium TI has an understated beauty that will never go out of style. The design and build quality are first-tier.

I have used the Omnium TI to listen to a wide variety of music on three players: the EvoAria Evo One, Sony NW-WM1ZM2, and HiBy R6 III. My primary genres include Classical, Bluegrass, Pop, and Hard Rock. I stream music using Apple Music and Apple Classical. The test tracks I use to assess IEM performance include: (1) Villa-Lobos’ Uirapuru and Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite performances by Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, 2026, Dolby Atmos, (2) Hooks, 1989, Hi-Res, Herman Brood and His Wild Romance, (3) Diamond Life, 1984, Lossless, Sade, (4) This Year’s Model, 2021 Remaster, Hi-Res Lossless, Elvis Costello and The Attractions, (5) 4 High-Res Classical Music stations from Germany, Switzerland, the UK, and the US.

The bass shows controlled, structured sub-bass depth and texture rather than heavy mid-bass bloat. The planar driver delivers clean, open midrange that reveals well-separated vocals and an accurate lower-mid range that is neither diluted nor muffled. This is the natural and well-integrated midrange. It delivers a smooth, linear, mature upper register and shows superior 3D imaging, layering, and a wide soundstage.

I have experienced the Omnium Ti as a mature, holographic, coherent reference monitor that prioritizes vocal realism, organic instrument timbre, and long-term comfort. Villa-Lobos’ Uirapuru is a sonically challenging symphonic ballet whose musical fabric spans every instrumental range. The Omnium TI captures every detail to perfection.

I will just conclude that, while I was hopeful, I did not expect what I got. It is an utterly amazing IEM, as good as any I have heard and far better than most. For me, it ranks in the 98th percentile for build quality, beauty, and sound quality… without breaking the bank.
