Hercules Audio Noah

These IEM are absolutely outstanding. They are sounding better every time I use them. The bass, the mids. When I use them I have to remind myself that I am not listening to a £1000+ product. They are that good and totally manifest the DNA of the Hercules Moses and have a bass signature to die for. I will be definitely looking out Hercules products in the near future.

The HA Noah is a great IEM. There is no sugarcoating nor overhyping, this is a £330 product that successfully reproduces the feeling of using something much more expensive and luxurious. The build is full CNC aluminium, the faceplate has that nice gold anodization for the Noah logo and it uses all Knowles BAs! It’s quality inside and outside.

Accessories are very good as well: the cable is good quality, the included DAC/AMP is made with the same care for detail as the IEMs, Divinus Velvet ear tips are included and the case is of good quality and big enough to store a small to mid size DAP inside as well.

Performance wise the Noah is a lush set with a balanced and warm signature. The super-high BA handles perceived detail and sound staging vey well, the mids are clean and present enough while the bass is punchy and atmospheric. The limits of its 3-way crossover come out with more layered and complex music but with pop, rock, acoustic, progressive music this set really shines and delivers the goods. One note: don’t buy it for EDM, there’s is better sets for that (like the FF Deuce). The Noah is a quality all rounder that pushes above its weight but its versatility is not universal. Also, I think it sounds the best with Divinus Velvet wide bores or Eletech Baroque Stage ear tips because they let the high frequencies shine a bit more empowering the sense of balance and detail in this set.

Going to the performance of the included DAC/AMP I can just say that it is good enough: it’s clean, versatile and of decent quality. I have to say though that the Noah shines with more power and scales very well. Something like the CrinEar Protocol Max or the Campfire Audio Relay will be enough to make it shine but I tried it with the Luxsin X9 and the Apos Gremlin + Merlin as well and both desktop solutions were driving them brilliantly with no hissing nor problems.
