Sennheiser HDB 630
Turning audiophile sound on its head
Serious listening used to require a serious amount of equipment. The HDB 630 changes the rules.
The pursuit of audiophile sound can get a bit gear intensive. High-end DACs that cost more than your first car did. Balanced cables, big tube amps. Not exactly stuff you bring on a walk around the block. But now you can have your high fidelity and carry it, too — with all the conveniences of state-of-the-art wireless headphones.

A perfectly orchestrated acoustic chain
Each component has been carefully crafted to work in harmony, revealing details you’ve never heard from wireless headphones before.
Neutral yet detailed mids make it feel like singers are performing right in front of you. A wide soundstage further enhances the feeling of being there with the musicians.
Carefully tuned, neutral, high-res sound like this requires acoustics, mechanics, materials, and electronics that complement each other perfectly. Our engineering team optimized every part of the acoustic chain from the 42 mm in-house transducer to the transparent mesh in the baffle to work together with exceptional balance and clarity.

Control freaks, it's your time to shine
Critical listening demands state-of-the-art electronics and precise control. That´s why we included high-res codecs and advanced capabilities like the crossfeed feature and parametric equalizer.
The HDB 630’s onboard electronics keep your music pristine from source to ear. aptX™ HD and aptX™ Adaptive Bluetooth® codecs recreate high-quality content wirelessly. When you want the purest possible signal, you can also plug in via USB C and listen to high-resolution, lossless files. Not to mention the included audio cable, which lets you plug into any 3.5 mm jack for maximum compatibility. Powerful adaptive noise cancellation in a closed architecture quiets the world without affecting your music, while transparency mode lets you hear your surroundings when needed. The crossfeed feature is great for classic tracks with hard-panned mixes. It takes instruments concentrated on one channel and balances them out, creating a much more natural listening experience — like hearing the track on a full stereo system.

Parametric equalizer: The precision to get exactly what you want
Previous equalizers only provided limited benefits, whereas our new parametric equalizer gives you full flexibility to adjust your sound exactly to your needs. The parametric equalizer available via the Smart Control Plus App lets you shape your sound exactly how you like it — down to the smallest detail.
A standard graphic equalizer lets you boost or cut within preset frequency bands — handy for quick adjustments, but not ideal if those bands aren’t exactly where you want them. The HDB 630’s parametric equalizer puts you in the driver’s seat: you can set the exact frequency range you prefer, control the bandwidth to make that adjustment wide or narrow, and choose the filter type for even more precise shaping. This flexibility lets you tailor vocals to your preference, adjust brightness, or fine-tune bass — without affecting the rest of your music. It offers a level of control rarely seen in wireless headphones, perfectly complementing the audiophile tuning. Whether you’re an enthusiast chasing the ideal audio or simply exploring, full parametric control lets the HDB 630 match your personal definition of perfect sound.
The parametric equalizer, crossfeed and more features like your ANC settings, advanced sound quality settings and firmware updates are all available in the Smart Control Plus App.

Stay comfortable and stay connected
A great headphone should take even epic playlists in stride.
With up to 60 hours of battery life, you can listen to music, podcasts, or videos literally for days. Go on a week-long trip, crush it in marathon work sessions, or binge videos on your tablet. And never have to think about charging once.
But for this level of endurance, the fit and feel have to be just right. That’s why the HDB 630’s earcups are generously sized with earpads that feel as luxurious as they look. The headband is wrapped in refined Japanese leatherette. Low weight and a gentle clamping force make these headphones a joy to wear, even if you’re listening for hours. It’s that elusive blend of long-haul performance and all-day comfort that will ensure these become your new favorite daily driver headphones.

Why the HDB 630 sounds exquisitely neutral
The HDB 630’s tuning is all about balance: Fast and extended bass, clear lifelike mids, and controlled treble that keeps the music feeling open and natural.
The HDB 630’s curve compared to the MOMENTUM 4 shows how audiophile tuning changes the listening experience.
Notice the low end: The HDB 630’s sub-bass and mid-bass are quick and controlled, staying closer to neutral. This reduces any “masking” effects that can hide vocal detail. Moving into the lower mids, the HDB 630 remains smooth and even, keeping voices present and lifelike.
In the upper mids, there’s a tasteful lift that gives vocals a richer, more intimate presence, balanced by a still-neutral bass foundation. The treble region keeps that balance, adding a sense of air without harshness — something you can see in the rise before 10 kHz, which helps improve the perception of a natural, open space around instruments.
The result is a frequency response tuned for speed and clarity in the bass, lifelike mids, and controlled treble — all without the peaks or dips that can cause listening fatigue. It’s a more neutral, refined take on Sennheiser’s wireless sound that makes long sessions and critical listening a unique pleasure.
