Ultralight Silver Planar Magnetic Diaphragm
The ArcTec AB 92's core innovation is its revolutionary diaphragm. At less than 1.5 μm thick, it is electroplated with a pure silver conductor pattern, chosen for its ideal balance of exceptional conductivity and low weight. This results in a driver with impeccable impulse response and the ideal electrical resistance for high sensitivity, making it compatible with most headphone amplifiers without sacrificing speed or precision.
Acoustically Inert Milled Aluminum Housing
To provide a perfectly stable foundation for the driver, the AB 92 transducers are mounted in a rigid, milled aluminum ring. This housing is specifically damped to eliminate ringing and resonance. By creating an acoustically inert base, the housing ensures that the sound you hear comes purely from the diaphragm itself, leading to a remarkably settled and uncolored bass and midrange.
AirBorne Open-Back Design For A Spatial Soundstage
The AB 92 is engineered for a truly spatial listening experience.
